King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz has expressed thanks and appreciation to the Governor of Riyadh region, Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, who is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of the King Abdulaziz House, for the efforts undertaken by the House to preserve the resources of the Kingdom's national history, developing its sources and performing serious and pioneering historical research work.

The King made these remarks in a cable to Prince Salman in reply to the Riyadh Governor's earlier message, which had been attached to publications of the King Abdulaziz House on the occasion of the Kingdom's centennial celebrations. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques wished the Prince and personnel of the House continued success. In his message to the King, Prince Salman had praised the noble patronage, wise directives and constant follow-up of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the programmes of the Kingdom's centennial celebrations and to the efforts of the King Abdulaziz House and its activities in serving the Kingdom's history and its national heritage.
