The Ministry of Culture & Information is responsible for all information services, including radio, television and publications. The Ministry provides information and news to the public through a network of radio and television broadcasting stations, and through the publication and distribution of books and other material.

The Ministry initiates and undertakes information campaigns in cooperation with other Government agencies, covering different fields such as health, eradication of illiteracy, fire risk and traffic safety instructions.

The Ministry of Culture & Information has 38 local publication offices and there are eight centers for local and seven centers for foreign information.
