24/07/2001 King Fahd donates money for Arab cities organization
Jeddah, 24th July 2001

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz has donated SR 300,000 to the organizing committee of the 'Constructional Legacy of Arab Cities – traditional and contemporary' symposium, organized by the Arab Cities Institute Development in cooperation with the Heritage Corporation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Syrian city of Aleppo's Council, it was announced here today.

Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz and Abdullah Al Ali Al Naimi, chairman of the Arab Institute's Council of Trustees for Cities Developments, expressed thanks to King Fahd for his generous donation in support of the symposium.

It is expected that the topics to be discussed at the symposium will have a positive impact on the process of preservation of Islamic and Arab cities, Prince Sultan said.
