The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz has sent a message to the Chairman of the Shoura Council, Sheikh Mohammed bin Ibrahim bin Jubair, on occasion of the end of the Shoura's term. In his message, the monarch said: "On the occasion of the end of the second term of the Council and its formation for the third term, I express my appreciation and thanks to you and the Council's members for their exerted efforts. We wish you to convey our greetings and thanks to the members, whose term has ended, for their active contribution to the Council's works and its committees during the last period." The monarch also expressed hope that the efforts of former members would continue in other fields for the service of their religion and homeland.
He conveyed his greetings and best wishes for success to the new members in their efforts and contribution to the works of the Council and its committees in the forthcoming term. "I pray to Allah to crown our efforts with success in the interests of our nation, Islam and Muslims," he said.
