01/04/2001 Saudi relief plane arrives in India
Gujarat, India, 1 April 2001

In line with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz, the third Saudi relief plane arrived here on Sunday. The relief assistance will be extended to the victims of the earthquake that earlier hit this Indian state. The relief plane, loaded with tents, blankets and foodstuffs, was received by the Saudi Consul General in Bombay, Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ajlan, and a number of officials. Meanwhile, Al-Ajlan delivered the relief assistance to the representatives of the Government of Gujarat, who expressed appreciation for this kind gesture.
