King Fahd approves clubs for the deaf and dumb
Riyadh, 3 February 2001

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz has approved the establishment of two clubs for the deaf and dumb in each of Jeddah province and Dammam city, in addition to the allocation of SR 500,000 as an annual assistance for each one of the two clubs.

This was announced by Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdul Aziz, the General President of Youth Welfare, in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency.

Prince Sultan highlighted the great attention being given by the state to handicapped people.
