King Fahd orders distribution of the Holy Quran
Riyadh, 8 January 2001

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz has ordered to supply a number of governmental departments, Kingdom's embassies and Islamic institutions and organizations inside and outside the Kingdom, with 110,000 copies of the Holy Quran and its translation in various languages published at the Madinah-based King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Quran.

In a statement, the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance and the Supervisor General of the Complex Sheikh Saleh bin Abdul Aziz bin Mohammed Al Al-Sheikh praised the care and interest of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz, his entrusted Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier, for the Holy Quran and their keenness to provide Quran to Muslims everywhere. The copies of Holy Quran are to be distributed inside and outside the Kingdom, notably in Pakistan, Indonesia, the Arab League and Palestinian territories.
