Saudi Red Crescent thanks King Fahd
Riyadh, 7 January 2001

Dr Abdel Rahman Al-Suweilim, President of the Saudi Red Crescent Society, has highlighted the decision of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz to donate SR seven million to support the Society. Dr Al-Suweilim, who was speaking here on Sunday at the inaugural session of the Program of Specialized Courses for Emergency organized by the Society, said the ambulances donated by King Fahd arrived in Dammam on Saturday. It is worth mentioning that 12 governmental authorities including the Faculty of Medicine at King Saud University, the General Directorate for Civil Defence and Governmental hospitals, are participating in the training course.
