King Fahd receives heads of state

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz received here on Wednesday evening King Abdullah of Jordan and the accompanying delegation. He also received on Wednesday evening Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Salih and the accompanying delegation and Senegalese President Abdullah Wade and the accompanying delegation.

The King also received Jordanian Premier Ali Abdul Raghib, Dr Rifat Al-Assad (former Syrian vice-president), Nawaz Sharif (former Pakistani premier), Sheikh Abdullah Al-Ahmar, the speaker of the Yemeni Council of Deputies, as well as other dignitaries who had come to the Kingdom to perform Umrah (minor pilgrimage). At the audience issues of mutual interest were reviewed.

The audience was attended by Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Premier, Defense and Aviation Minister and Inspector General, Prince Metib bin Abdul Aziz, the Minister of Public Works and Housing, Prince Nawaf bin Abdul Aziz, Prince Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Abdul Aziz, Prince Faisal bin Turki, Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz, the governor of Riyadh region, Prince Bandar bin Khalid bin Abdul Aziz, Prince Abdul Ilah bin Abdul Aziz, the governor of Jouf region, Prince Abdel-Majeed bin Abdul Aziz, the governor of Makkah region, as well as other princes, Sheikh Mohammed bin Jubeir, the chairman of the Shoura (consultative council), and senior officials.
