12/11/2000 King orders dispatch of 270,000 copies of the Holy Quran

Riyadh, 12 November 2000
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz has issued an order to provide a number of governmental agencies, Islamic bodies in the Kingdom and Saudi missions abroad with 270,000 copies of the Holy Quran and its meanings, in various editions and languages. The copies are published at al Madinah-based King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Quran.
