![]() ![]() ![]() King Fahd orders the opening of al-Quds Fund

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz today ordered all governors of administrative regions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to take the necessary measures to gather donations from the public for an Al-Quds [Jerusalem] Fund in support of Al-Quds Intifada (uprising), it was announced here today. Making the announcement during his visit to Palestinian casualties at King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh earlier today, Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, said the order is in line with Saudi Arabia’s firm stance in support to the Palestinian cause, including Al-Quds, against Israel’s brutal hostilities. Commencing the fund-raising campaign, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz today donated 30 million Saudi riyals. And Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, donated ten million Saudi riyals for the heroes of the Palestinian intifada. Source: SPA |
