Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz has donated SR two million to Riyadh-based Imam Mohammed bin Saud Islamic University for the organization of eight Islamic courses outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in a number of Muslim and friendly countries, as reported by Dr Mohammed Al-Salim, the rector of Imam Mohammed bin Saud Islamic University. The monarch's donation will be used in financing these Islamic courses to be organized in Belgium, Britain, Guinea, South Africa, the USA, Argentine, Australia and Japan. A number of the members of the university's academic staff will participate in these Islamic courses. Dr Al-Salim highlighted the great attention being given by King Fahd to Islam and Muslims and said: ‘It is hoped that these Islamic courses will yield positive results’. Source: SPA |
