Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz has sent a cable of congratulations to Lebanese president Emil Lehud. ‘I would like to congratulate you on the occasion of the liberation of South Lebanon from the Israeli occupation, and we hope that Lebanon, with the grace of the Almighty God, will realize its aspirations’, said the King in his cable.

Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, and Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Premier, Defense and Aviation Minister and Inspector General, have sent similar cables of congratulations to President Lehud on the occasion of the evacuation of the Israeli forces from South Lebanon.
