Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz has donated SR one million for the victims of famine in Ethiopia within the framework of his support for Islam and Muslim causes all around the world. This was disclosed in a statement to SPA by Sheikh Saleh bin Abdul Aziz Al Al-Sheikh, the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance.
Speaking on this occasion, Sheikh Saleh said this generous donation of King Fahd was intended to provide speedy assistance to save the lives of the famine victims, fulfilling the obligation to achieve Muslim solidarity by helping each other. Sheikh Saleh reaffirmed the keenness of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz, to make available all its resources in the service of Islam.
