Regional director of the office of the Joint Saudi Committee for the Relief of Kosovo and Chechnya in Pristina Dr Faris Al-Hadi praised the efforts of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz in the service of Islam and Muslims everywhere.
In a statement to Saudi Press Agency, he said the success of the relief, medical and cultural projects was a result of the King's instructions to help and support Islamic peoples facing catastrophes, disasters and wars.
On the visit of the representative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Dr Ali bin Ibrahim Al-Namlah, to Kosovo to open and lay the foundation stones of a number of projects, Dr Alhadi said it would benefit the Kosovar people.
The regional director stated that the cost of the rehabilitation of Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Center for specular surgery in Pristina exceeded 1,600,000 riyals and the cost of equipping it reached more than 1,800,000 riyals.
Dr Al Hadi said that during the visit, the Minister will open Krawla Mosque in Brizrin City, lay the foundation stone for the Saudi Cultural Center in Pristina and visit the shelters and warehouse of the committee in Stima which is the largest warehouse in Kosovo.
Dr Al-Hadi stated that the Minister of labor and Social Affairs will deliver a million dollar worth of medicine of the share of World Health Organization. The Minister will also deliver seven ambulances to the medical administration of the Committee in Kosovo for distribution to the needy hospitals there.
