Distribution of the Holy Quran

As many as 1,659,354 copies of the Holy Quran and interpretations of its meanings are to be distributed through Saudi embassies abroad, governmental offices inside and outside the Kingdom and the private sector, it was reported here today.

In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance Sheikh Saleh bin Abdul Aziz Al Al-Sheikh expressed thanks to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz for his determination to make the Holy Book available to all Muslims around the world. He also praised the care extended by the King, Crown Prince Abdullah and Second Deputy Premier to the Madinah-based King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Quran, which issues the book.
