The number of guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz, who have been hosted by a committee from the Riyadh-based Imam Mohammed bin Saud Islamic University, amounted to 133 pilgrims, it was reported here today.
Undersecretary of the University Dr. Suleiman Abal-Khail, who is also deputy chairman of the supreme host committee, said in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that 103 of them came from 25 Asian countries, including Japan, Indonesia, Korea, India, Pakistan, Malaysia, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka and 30 pilgrims came from America.
The committee will tomorrow hold a reception in honor of the guests. It will be attended by Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al Al-Sheikh, Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, Sheikh Mohammed Saleh Al-Otheimeen, and Rector of the university.
