Riyadh, 27th December 1999

In line with directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz, a plane carrying relief materials for Algeria left Riyadh. The relief consignment includes 508 tons of tents and 1,155 foodstuffs parcels. Earlier, King Fahd had sent two planes, full of foodstuffs, tents, carpets and dates as a contribution from the Kingdom to ease the crisis resulting from an earthquake that hit some parts of Algeria recently.
