![]() ![]() ![]() King Fahd holds talks with Egyptian President
Riyadh, 19th December, 1999
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz and Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak held talks Saturday evening at al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh during which they discussed ways of strengthening bilateral relations, the Middle East peace process and other issues in the Arab, Islamic and international arenas. The meeting was attended by Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General and the official delegation accompanying President Mubarak. Crown Prince Abdullah and President Mubarak also held a meeting last night at the guest palace in Riyadh, which focused on the relations between the two brotherly countries, the current issues including the Middle East and occupied Arab land and other important issues. The meeting was attended by Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, Ministers and other high-ranking officials and the accompanying delegation of the Egyptian President. On Saturday night, King Fahd hosted a dinner party in honor of President Mubarak who had been greeted on arrival earlier in the day at Riyadh airport by King Fahd, Crown Prince Abdullah, Prince Sultan, other princes, ministers and officials.
