Saudi Arabia sends relief materials to Turkey
Riyadh, 4th September, 1999

Saudi Arabia sent two shipments of relief materials, amounting to 127.502 tons, to Turkey to help alleviate the sufferings of the people of the quake-stricken Middle Eastern country, it was reported here today. The report said 'according to the instructions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, to provide relief assistance to the Republic of Turkey, to help it face the sufferings of the victims of the earthquake (which recently devastated a number of Turkish cities, towns and rural areas) the Turkish Red Crescent Society received the contents of two cargo flights shipped by the Saudi Arabian Red Crescent Society.
