King Fahd issues order to supply copies of the Holy Quran
Riyadh, 20th August, 1999

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz has issued an order to supply 187,000 copies of the Holy Quran with its interpretation to a number of governmental bodies and Islamic commissions and societies in the Kingdom and abroad, according to Sheikh Salih bin Abdul Aziz Al-Sheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance. These copies of the Holy Quran are printed at the Madinah-based King Fahd Complex for Printing the Holy Quran. The order included Saudi embassies in Bahrain, Oman, Yemen, Syria, Mauritania, India, Belgium and other places, beside the Kingdom's exhibitions in Sharjah, Syria, Amman and Frankfurt, and the Ministry of Education in Maldives, the Minister said.
