King Fahd orders distribution of 41,000 copies of the Holy Quran
Riyadh, 26th July, 1999

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz has issued his noble directives to provide 41,000 copies of the Holy Quran, its meaning and translations in various languages to a number of governmental bodies and institutions and Islamic societies in the Kingdom and abroad. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency, Sheikh Saleh bin Abdul Aziz bin Mohammad Al-Sheikh, the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance and the General Supervisor of the Madinah-based King Fahd Printing Complex for the Holy Quran, prayed to Almighty God to preserve the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his Deputy and to bestow on them success in their unwavering efforts to spread the Holy Book of Allah in order to make it available to all Muslims around the world, giving them access to the Holy Quran and Sunnah (the Prophet's sayings).
