Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz received here on Monday, Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Sheikh, who has been appointed as the Saudi General Mufti following the death of Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Baz.

The Monarch also received here on Monday Sheikh Salih Al-Leheidan, the Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council, and Sheikh Rashid bin Khenein, the Advisor at the Royal Court, who expressed their condolences on the death of Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Baz.

The audience was attended by Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Premier, Defense and Aviation Minister and Inspector General, Prince Met'eb bin Abdul Aziz, the Minister of Public Works and Housing, Prince Abdul Aziz bin Fahd bin Abdul Aziz, the Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet, and a number of senior officials.
