Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz patronized here on Friday evening the final football match in the competition for the Cup of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the sports season of 1419 AH organized at the stadium of the Youth Welfare.

The monarch was welcomed by Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, Prince Majed bin Abdul Aziz, the Governor of Makkah Region, Prince Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdul Aziz, the President of Youth Welfare, Prince Saud bin Abdul Muhsin bin Abdul Aziz, the Vice-Governor of Makkah Region, Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdul Aziz, the Vice-President of Youth Welfare, as well as princes and senior officials.

At the match, Jeddah-based Al-Ittihad sports club beat Jeddah-based Al-Ahli sports club one - nil.

The goal was scored by player Hamza Idriss in the second half of the match.

At the end of the match the Monarch handed over the Cup for the sports season for 1419 AH and SR 300,000 to President of Al-Ittihad Ahmed Omer Masaud, and gold medals to the players and members of the technical organ of Al-Ittihad Sports Club.
