King Fahd this week received the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General, Jameel Al-Hejailan, who conveyed to him the greetings and good wishes of the leaders of the GCC states. Mr Al-Hejailan also submitted a report to King Fahd on the progress of the GCC since the Kuwait summit.

The Saudi monarch renewed his support for the Council, praising its economic and political achievements and wished the GCC every success.
