The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz, lauded the cordial relations between Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom when he briefed the Council of Ministers on his talks with the British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, in Jeddah.
The Saudi monarch urged Britain and the other parties concerned to revive the waning peace process in the Middle East. He frowned on the Israeli tactics of deliberate obstruction and frustration of the genuine efforts for peace in the region.
