Gulf Co-operation Council

The Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, more commonly known as the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), was founded on 25th May 1981, when the Heads of State of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, the Sultanate of Oman and the United Arab Emirates signed the new organization’s constitution.
