By the end of 1999 SABIC had established sixteen basic, downstream and support industries, having annual production capacities of about 27.67 tons [25.1 million metric tons] of products like petrochemicals, plastics, fertilizers, metals, industrial gases. The sixteen industries are the following:

4. Al-Jubail Fertilizer Company (SAMAD)
5. Saudi Yanbu Petrochemical Company (YANPET)
6. Al-Jubail Petrochemical Company (KEMYA)
7. Saudi Petrochemical Company (SADAF)
8. National Methanol Company (IBN SINA)
9. Arabian Petrochemical Company (PETROKEMYA)
10. Eastern Petrochemical Company (SHARQ)
11. Saudi Arabian Fertilizer Company (SAFCO)
12. National Chemical Fertilizer Company (IBN AL BAYTAR)
13. National Plastic Company (IBN HAYYAN)
14. National Gases Company (GAS)
15. Saudi European Petrochemical Company (IBN ZAHER)
