Healthcare is the responsibility of the Ministry of Health, which provides both general and specialized hospital services. Amongst the Kingdom’s specialized hospitals are the King Faisal Specialist Hospital, the military hospitals and some Ministry of Health hospitals, which offer, amongst other advanced medical techniques, open-heart surgery, kidney transplantation and cancer therapy.
